Spreading light during the Festival of Lights
During the eight days of Chanukah, when we happily feast on latkes and doughnuts, and children play dreidel and enjoy their gifts, it’s easy to forget about individuals lying ill in hospitals. But Yad Ephraim doesn’t forget.

At a time when most people are preoccupied with their Chanukah parties, games and gifts, Yad Ephraim is occupied with whipping up delicious meals and bringing them to patients. We also bring snacks, such as doughnuts, for people waiting in the emergency rooms.

Along with our food containers, we supply the patients with menorahs. Picture a patient’s delight when he is suddenly presented with a menorah right at the start of Chanukah. As the menorah lights up his room, he, too, becomes part of the holiday that Jews all over the world are celebrating.

Join us in helping to light up the lives of hundreds of hospitalized patients. Support the Chanukah Program with your kindhearted contribution, so that we can continue to spread light for many more Chanukahs to come
